The Feed Division Manager is responsible for overseeing, leading, and managing all aspects of the Feed Division at Gold-Eagle Cooperative. This includes oversight and responsibility of the P & L for the division, strategic long term capital investments and growth initiatives, safety compliance and protocols, key customer relationship management, risk management, and operational excellence.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Feed Division Manager is responsible for overseeing, leading, and managing all aspects of the Feed Division at Gold-Eagle Cooperative. This includes oversight and responsibility of the P & L for the division, strategic long term capital investments and growth initiatives, safety compliance and protocols, key customer relationship management, risk management, and operational excellence. This position will work very closely with the senior leadership team, Feed Mill Managers, Feed Controller, Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Transportation Manager to ensure proper procedures are in place to maximize opportunities for customers and Gold-Eagle as well as manage risk for the Feed Division.

​Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supports Gold-Eagle Coop’s stated Vision, Mission, and Business Values.

Responsible for P & L of division to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability of Feed Division. Continuously monitor financial performance and implement changes as needed to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

Implement and maintain effective and efficient processes, goals, and responsibilities for staff.

Oversee all operations and safety programs.

Maintain strong working relationships with customers and continually look to build relationships with prospective customers and/or potential partners.

Continually identify and analyze growth opportunities for the Feed Division

Oversee feed processing, mixing, storage, ingredients, and grain storage to ensure accuracy and quality.

Work closely with the Grain Division to support corn needs for the Gold-Eagle feed mills.

Oversee biosecurity and data acquisition programs and systems.

Hire, retain, supervise, and conduct performance evaluations consistent with the Gold-Eagle performance process for all Feed Division staff.

Oversee maintenance of feed mill facilities, bins, dryers, feed processing equipment, buildings, machinery, scales, and all other assets pertaining to the Feed Division.

Education and/or Experience:
​
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 7 to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
