Hedlin Ag Places Chris Snyder as Chief Executive Officer of Cedar County Cooperative

Tipton, Iowa — March 17, 2025 — Cedar County Cooperative (CCC), a trusted name in
the agricultural industry for over 90 years, announces the appointment of Chris Snyder
as its new Chief Executive Officer and General Manager.
Headquartered in Tipton, Iowa, CCC is a full-service cooperative offering expertise in
grain, agronomy, energy, and feed products. The cooperative also extends its reach
through an additional facility in West Branch, Iowa, continuing its commitment to serving
the needs of its members and the local community.
Over the course of his career, Chris has served in a variety of leadership roles in a
diverse group of businesses. These businesses were both small and large and privately
owned as well as publicly traded. His varied experience includes beginning his career
serving on active duty as a German Linguist in the US Army Military Intelligence branch,
working in corporate finance, accounting, and brand marketing, and has been President
and CEO of companies in the agriculture, renewable energy, and manufacturing
industries. Prior to CCC Chris was President and CEO of Folience, an ESOP-owned
holding company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He serves on the Campaign Cabinet of
the United Way East Central Iowa and is active in the Cedar Valley Veterans Network.
Chris was raised in Davenport, Iowa, and earned his Bachelor of Business
Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from the Tippie College of Business at the
University of Iowa and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the
Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He and his wife, Maureen,
live in Coralville, IA and have three children.
