Laura Blomme
Laura is the Owner and President of Hedlin Ag Enterprises. She was born and raised on her family’s grain farm in Southern Illinois. She graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration where she also played women’s college basketball. She later graduated from The University of Iowa with a Master’s in Business Administration.
Laura is passionate about the agricultural industry and the people who serve it. Prior to joining Hedlin Ag Enterprises, Laura served in various sales, marketing, communications and training roles in the seed and equipment industries. She most recently worked for Corteva, first as the Commercial Unit Digital Sales Lead and then as a Territory Sales Manager for Pioneer Seed. Prior to that she was the Director of Marketing for Balzer Inc., an equipment manufacturer in Mountain Lake, Minnesota where she was responsible for all facets of marketing and communications. Before joining Balzer, Laura held roles in sales, training management and marketing at Kinze Manufacturing. She also served as the Media Spokesperson for the company.
Laura and her husband reside in Ladora, Iowa where they are raising their four daughters on their family farm. Laura also enjoys contributing to her community by serving as a religious education instructor at her church, volunteering to coach her daughters’ sports and activities, and volunteering on various committees for the Agribusiness Association of Iowa.
Danielle Nowotny
Danielle joined Hedlin Ag Enterprises as Executive Recruiting
Coordinator in March of 2025. She grew up on her family’s row-
crop and farrow-to-finish swine farm in Iowa, where her roots in
agriculture began. A life-long learner, Danielle graduated from
University of the Cumberlands in 2021 with a Bachelor of
Applied Science degree.

Danielle has extensive experience in agriculture, with a versatile background spanning start-ups, small business, and large corporate environments. Her work in both seed corn production and the animal health sectors give her a unique perspective and a broad network of industry connections that add value to the organization.
Before joining Hedlin Ag, Danielle served as the Business Administration Lead at Mazen Animal Health, where she was a member of the strategic leadership team. She played a key role in developing policies, providing executive support, guiding strategic planning, managing social media marketing, and coordinating project management.
During her 20+ year tenure at Monsanto and later Bayer Crop Science, Danielle held key roles in grower contracting, payroll management, executive support, and employee relations, while also serving as a subject matter expert in SAP/ERP systems.
Danielle and her husband, Rob, live in rural Victor, Iowa. With two grown children, she enjoys spending her free time traveling, gardening, and hiking. Committed to community service, Danielle serves as President of the local American Legion Auxiliary and actively volunteers at her church. She is also a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals where she holds their Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) designation.
