LARRY HEDLIN
Larry Hedlin grew up on a family dairy farm near Lowry, Minnesota and was a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. Larry moved to St. Louis, Missouri when he was hired by Monsanto Company’s Agricultural Division. During his 10-year career with them, interrupted by service in the Marine Corps Reserves, he progressed through sales and management positions. After serving as Regional Sales Manager fort he Western US, Larry resigned so that he and Vicki could move back to Des Moines, open their own business, and raise their daughters in a place they had grown to love.​​

In 1975, Larry and his wife, Vicki Hedlin, founded Hedlin Ag Enterprises, an agricultural executive search and consulting business. The couple worked together for 19 years before selling the business in 2001 to Kevin Drury.
KEVIN DRURY
From 2001 through 2024, Kevin Drury was the Owner and President of Hedlin Ag Enterprises. Kevin was responsible for conducting all aspects of senior level searches for ag companies and associations during that time.​

Prior to entering the executive search business, Kevin spent thirteen years in the crop protection industry and five years in the information technology consulting industry. During his time with Dow Chemical and Dow Elanco (now Corteva) in the agricultural chemical business, Kevin held roles in sales, marketing communications, marketing program development and administration, as well as new product development in Iowa, Michigan, Indiana, and Minnesota. Prior to Hedlin Ag Enterprises, Kevin spent five years with Analysts International, a technology consulting company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During this time, Kevin had staff leadership and branch profitability responsibilities for the company’s Des Moines, IA office.

Kevin is a 1983 graduate of Iowa State University with a BS in Ag Business. In addition, he received his MBA from Drake University in 1998. Kevin has been active in the Iowa State University Alumni Association where he has served on the Board of Directors and is a past Board Chair. He is a member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity and is a past board member and president for the Alumni Corporation and Educational Foundation of Eta chapter of Iowa State University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Agribusiness Association of Iowa.

A native of Holstein, Iowa where he grew up on a grain and livestock farm, Kevin resides in Ankeny, Iowa with his wife, Jeanne. Kevin has had an immense impact on the agricultural community over the years and we wish him all the best in retirement.
PAT & LAURA BLOMME
Hedlin Ag is proudly owned and led by Pat and Laura Blomme, a husband-and-wife team rooted in the heart of Midwestern farming tradition. Born and raised on family farms, their passion for agriculture is woven into every decision they make.
After graduating from Truman State University, they embraced the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship. Over the years, the lessons they’ve learned and relationships they've built have shaped Hedlin Ag into a company rooted in integrity, relentless hard work, and a steadfast commitment to treating every client and colleague with respect and professionalism.
Pat and Laura are proud to carry forward the rich heritage and reputation of Hedlin Ag, honoring the strong foundation laid before them. At the same time, they are driven by a vision for innovation—bringing fresh ideas and modern approaches to executive search, constantly improving their services to ensure clients achieve the very best outcomes.
