President

GENEX

A cooperative champion uniting producer voice, member value, and commercial execution to advance Better Cows for a Better World.

The GENEX President leads GENEX as a cooperative in the US and commercially strong bovine genetics brand globally. The role is accountable for delivering meaningful value to members and customers and driving profitable growth. This leader will create a clear and compelling value proposition for GENEX members and customers, translating producer needs into innovative programs, solutions, and services that improve farm profitability and deliver measurable economic outcomes. The role requires an integrator, brand advocate, strategist and disciplined executor who can build brand pride and success, articulate the membership advantage, and grow the GENEX brand in the U.S. market while expanding international relevance through retail and wholesale channels.

This leader will translate producer needs and economics into a differentiated GENEX value proposition and measurable farm outcomes. This leader creates membership value, loyalty and benefits, and grows cooperative enterprise value that sustainably aligns producer members and URUS ownership. The GENEX President will lead the marketing, communication, and strategy team and mobilize capabilities across URUS to execute that proposition in the market and create profitable growth, member confidence and customer relevance through excellent field execution. The GENEX President partners with the GENEX Council of elected producers representing the delegates and membership at large. The GENEX President is a URUS management role, distinct from the elected officers and Board of Cooperative Resources International (CRI). The President role supports, but does not exercise, the governance and voting authority reserved to CRI members, delegates, electors, the GENEX Council, and the CRI Board under the CRI bylaws. The President engages the council by setting direction, providing context, facilitating productive farmer input and converting feedback into actions that strengthens producer value, membership engagement, and develops future leadership.

The GENEX President works with the URUS Chief Commercial Officer, and the GENEX Council to translate the cooperative advantage agenda into commercial priorities, member engagement, and with commercial leaders on field-level execution. Regional Commercial Presidents leaders own the revenue and margin accountability; the GENEX President owns the cooperative brand strategic direction, membership health and lifetime value. The GENEX President reports to the URUS Chief Commercial Officer.
